It is a song of the American band The Velvet Underground, present in its debut album of 1967 next to Nico.
Written by Lou Reed in 1966, it tells the story of a man traveling to New York's Harlem neighborhood near the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 125th Street to buy 26 dollars worth of heroin. On the lyrics, Reed has said: "Everything about the song is true, except for the price."
